**Salary**: £40,003 + shift allowance

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Ensuring that the mechanical aspects of all Aircraft Ground Equipment are maintained to maximise availability and minimise deterioration
- Comply with all applicable safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Calibration, fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical, fuel, hydraulic/pneumatic plant, and test equipment
- Recording details of breakdowns and repairs where necessary to facilitate further analysis
- Carrying out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair on the mechanical systems associated with any of the above

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Mechanical Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 / equivalent qualification and experience within a Mechanical discipline
- Experience of bench fitting skills including use of hand tools
- Knowledge of fault-finding of complex mechanical machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems

**The Aircraft Ground Equipment team**:
As a part of AGE team, you will be predominantly responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability and performance of plant and equipment located at our Warton site. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of plant equipment, aircraft systems and varied ground equipment rigs working with the latest technological and innovative developments in manufacturing.
