**Female Child Therapy Assistant / Female Support Worker (ENJ1)**
(Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9)

**Hours per week**:10 hours

**Working Pattern**:

- Term times shifts will generally be 3 shifts after school.
- School holidays - shifts to be spread over two days in discussion with the family.
- The ability to work flexibly is essential.

**Pay**:Weekday/Weekends/Bank Holidays (7 am to 11 pm) = £15

I’m a 6-year-old girl who sustained a brain injury when I was little which has left me with complex needs, including, cognitive and physical. I’m friendly, playful, sociable, active, energetic and live with my parents, two younger siblings and dog. Outside of school I need additional support to help with my learning, to enjoy social and leisure activities, and further develop my life skills, which in turn will help to support my family. On occasions you will accompany me to my therapy sessions, eg Hydrotherapy. I attend a Welsh medium school and the ability to speak Welsh would be a bonus.

During school holidays your hours are likely to be increased to provide extra support and to accompany me on day trips to places further afield.
This role will be an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Essential Information**

To join me as a Support Worker you will need to:

- Be able to drive and have use of a car.
- Have experience of working with children.
- Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Job Type**: Part-time
