- **Be skilled in staff supervision and training**

**Our Security Supervisors will have the duty of**:

- Enforces access control policy using security devices.
- Rostering and forward planning reporting officers ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness and holidays
- Monitor’s cameras and access control systems covering data halls and entry/exit doors.
- Utilizes excellent customer service and communications skills in dealing with client employees, vendors, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitoring and managing the appearance and behaviours of all Security personnel.
- Creates and maintains an atmosphere that is responsive, courteous and respectful; presents a professional image of security.
- Identifies suspicious or prohibited individuals, materials, vehicles, or other items, and ensures that property removal is conducted in accordance with client standards.
- Defuses and manages confrontational, aggressive or threatening people or situations through intervention that utilizes effective communication and other skills.
- Possesses physical stamina and quick responsiveness.
- Patrols assigned area checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked doors, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
- Responds to emergency and routine incidents including unauthorized incursions, fire, medical emergencies, bomb threat, suspicious activities and people, flooding, hazardous materials, and facilities issues.
- Any other adhoc duties required by the Deputy Branch Manager

- SIA License (essential)
- The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history.
- Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Skilled in staff supervision, including assigning work and providing training.
- Capable of learning a variety of security and safety device controls.
- Maintaining composure, you and your Officers will retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the Police or other external agency.
- Computer literate.
- Strong customer service skills and customer focus.
