**Night Shift - Monday to Friday**

**£44,460 (£18 per hour)**

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technicians from a process or production engineering background, interested in working as a Maintenance Technician in Wimborne, Dorset.

This is an industrial maintenance role where you will maintain and repair waste processing machinery including conveyors, trommels, separation plant and similar.

**Role Profile**
- Nights Maintenance Technician
- Maintenance of sorter plant and conveyors.
- Basic repair of mobile plant.
- General site maintenance of other specified equipment at New Earth facilities to ensure plant is available and runs efficiently.
- Undertake minor improvement works.
- Carry out daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site working plan (PPM).
- To co-operate with site management.
- Maintain high levels of tidiness and housekeeping in the workshop and in areas where maintenance work is undertaken.
- Work to timescales and deadlines.

**Engineer Profile**
- Demonstrable period of plant maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics would be advantageous as would fabricated skills such as welding, etc.
- Basic electrical skills/fault finding.
- The ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to be involved in all aspects of the operation.
- Experience of working in an operation with quality and health and safety systems.
