Their role has come about due to a restructure with one position becoming two. That means much more time developing members of the team, a cornerstone of the firm's approach.**
**They also expect the person they hire to step up and manage operations in its entirety as the company grows.**And that person could be you.
You'll lead and manage the administration and service standards of the business. That means managing seven individuals with a focus on getting the best out of them; you'll be a coach as well as a manager.
**This focus on people management is going to be the most important aspect of the role. Yes you'll have financial planning experience but you'll love training and development. You'll know what makes people tick and have a level of empathy all good leadershave.**
And you'll also be a dab hand at improving processes. There's always room for improvement and this business wants you to be at the forefront of that. Have ideas? They want to hear from you.
Alongside financial planning experience, being familiar with IO would be beneficial. The business is re-configuring their use of it, moving to the 'Advice Journey', and as with processes, you'll be part of this.
Qualifications are not essential but the company is aiming to have 90%+ of its employees with them. If you don't have the Level 3 Certificate in Financial Planning you'll have the chance to take it.
It's a hybrid role so you'd need to be in the office at least twice a week. But roles such as this often need someone to be visible, so it's likely you'll be in more than that, at least to start with.
**Salary is dependent on a range of factors. The firm doesn't want to set a tight range because different people offer different things. But there is sign off to go north of £60,000.**There's also a discretionary bonus and a significant benefits package which includes:
