**Personal Assistant for a young woman in Canterbury - £14 per hour**:
A female personal assistant is required to support me with my personal care needs and social activities. It is desirable that applicants can transport me across the county in my adapted vehicle (not essential) and have good communication skills. Previous experience in this type of work, either professionally or personally is desirable but full training will be given regardless.
- Manual handling is essential as you will be using hoists throughout the day, relevant training will be given and previous training with certification such as NVQ is desirable but not necessary.
- Applicants must be patient, helpful and caring, and be able to work in a discreet and confident manner and have a good sense of humour. Being flexible and able to work on your own initiative is also important.
Part time PA needed for 21 hours a week with potential to cover additional hours if necessary. We will also consider multiple PA's who are wanting to do less hours.

**Tasks**:

- Daily support to carry out daily personal care routine, including toileting, showering and manual handling.
- Support me with personal tasks such as getting dressed for the day and getting generally ready.
- Daily support with cooking and feeding of nutritional meals and support with drinking enough fluids throughout the day.
- Support to get into the community and taking part in activities such as shopping and cinema trips and days out to the beach. Having your own car is desirable however this is not necessary and there is public transport nearby to access the local area.
