**The Team**

Both nationally and locally our pensions team is highly rated with an enviable client list including pension schemes, PLCs and large insurers. You would be joining a team with a great track record undertaking fantastic and varied work. We are first and foremost great people to work with. With a large number of juniors and a supportive and inclusive culture we aim to make working for us professionally stimulating and enjoyable.

As a pension lawyer the world is your oyster. There are many diverse aspects of law that you will be exposed to over your career in pensions, giving you a great variety of work and a skill set head and shoulders above contemporaries in other specialisms.

As one of the largest pensions teams in a UK law firm, we have a great breadth of expertise and we have successfully future-proofed our practice by extending our work into areas that are outside of the traditional comfort zone for pension lawyers - examples of this being our high-profile work for pension providers and master trusts. Our pensions team also includes a litigation practice, enabling us to cover all aspects of pension work and provide rounded advice to our clients.

Pensions is so diverse that it covers most areas of law (trust law, commercial contracts, financial regulation, employment and tax to name a few). You do not need to have previous experience in pensions to become a pensions lawyer - some of our longer standing lawyers started life in different fields (including funds, corporate M&A and employment).
