**About The Role**:
**Location: Widnes**

**Rate of pay: £11.69 per hour**

**Shifts: Monday-Friday 10.30am-2.30pm**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Kitchen Assistant who will work at our client’s prestigious site.

**Duties as a Kitchen Assistant**
- Ensure that all required Catering duties are carried out to the highest standard and in line with Company and Client procedures.
- Ensure all areas of your schedule are completed as required.
- Assist with preparation of Lunch.
- Wipe down and sanitize tables and remove crockery.
- Load and unload dishwasher and any sink washing duties.
- Serve and take money using a till.
- Facilitate all catering requests.
- Ensure all surfaces are clean and sanitised.
- Ensure that kitchen and canteen is left clean and tidy after close of service.
- Report any areas of concern to client and Line Manager.
- Ensure that all chemicals and products used for cleaning kitchen areas are stored and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and directions to ensure a safe working environment and minimise risk of accident and injury.
- Maintain all allocated kitchen equipment and ensure that appropriate, well-maintained, and properly serviced equipment is always used.
- Comply with Health and Safety Legislation.
- Comply with Food Safety legislation.
- Comply with Company and Client policies and procedures.
- To comply with the Company accident reporting procedure.

**Job role requirements as a Kitchen Assistant**
- Excellent communication skills
- Level 2 Hygiene
- Experience in Similar role preferred.
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working alone and in a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.
