**About the team**
As part of our Corporate Parenting commitment, we are expanding our Care Leaver workforce and have created new Education, Employment and Training (EET) worker roles. These roles will be central to supporting the EET needs of Care Leavers aged 18-25 years and increasing the number of Care Leavers accessing EET opportunities.

**About the role**
You will be working alongside Leaving Care Personal Advisors and Team Managers to support Care Leavers who are transitioning to adulthood aged 18-25 years.

You will be responsible for working directly with Care Leavers, supporting them into education, employment, and training opportunities. You will work in partnership with our Virtual School, Services for Young People & DWP colleagues to ensure you are aware of suitable opportunities and feeding this back to the Care Leavers that you are working with, and to the wider service.
**About you**
As a minimum you will have direct experience of working with children, young people or care leavers and knowledge around the relevant legislation, education, employment and training needs of children and care leavers. You'll have experience of working in a multi-agency approach and ability to work in a relationship-based way. You will be able to maintain accurate records while working under pressure and use your initiative to prioritise and manage your own workload effectively. **A driving licence and access to a car for work is also essential.**

**Driving required**
You’ll need to have the ability to drive and/or travel around Hertfordshire, either using your own mode of transport or a company car to travel to other locations.

**English Fluency**
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
