**About the Opportunity;**

As an internal communication and people engagement lead, primarily for Europe, you’ll advise a broad and diverse group of stakeholders on strategic communication best practices, including effective storytelling, message frequency, channel selection, metrics, and Jacobs’ brand guidelines - serving as a “first stop” for internal message and communications requests.

Your success in this role is grounded in your ability to listen, question and consult, ultimately translating complex and often sensitive information into crisp, clear written communications and strategic campaigns that support senior leaders and employee engagement.

As the Communications Lead, you’ll
- Develop and deliver end-to-end internal communications that supports the businesses’ culture, growth ambitions and business priorities
- Write expertly crafted communications that are simple, clear and straightforward
- Coordinate, plan and deliver employee engagement events, both in-person and virtually, inclusive of talking points, scripts and presentations
- Create engaging content through strong story telling using various channels to drive audiences to action
- Deliver projects successfully whether working independently or with a team in a way that’s proactive, results-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Advise senior leaders and recommend best practices through periods of change including mergers and acquisitions, organizational changes, and rapid growth
- Build consensus and exert influence without direct authority
- Track communication and business metrics to identify key learnings, trends, and opportunities for improvement

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Established experience in internal communications and project management
- Proven and successful track record of moving projects forward with an eye on what’s next and what’s to come
- Experience working in a global matrix structured organisation (essential)
- Demonstrated business acumen to build communication campaigns that accomplish identified objectives
- Experience with content management, executive communications and change management
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving work environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and accurately with excellent organizational skills
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence at senior levels.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

- Knowledge of AP style
- Experience with data analytics
