**Day-Shift**:Monday to Friday (07:30am - 16.30pm) + overtime

**Rate**: £35,000 per annum plus overtime at £25 per hour

We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our busy workshop based in Armadale. Our workshop maintains our fleet of trucks and trailers including both inspection/service and MOT prep.

**The role will involve**:

- Preparing HGVs and trailers for MOT
- Routine vehicle and trailer maintenance
- Conducting general vehicle inspections and servicing
- Completion of all necessary inspection sheets
- Time served HGV / Trailer Mechanic
- Experienced in general maintenance and repair, including welding
- Experience in working on all major manufacturers and vehicle types
- HGV Class 1 license preferred, (although not essential) for traveling to MOT stations

Established in 1927, we are a family-run business located in Armadale, West Lothian, just off j4 of the M8 Edinburgh/Glasgow Motorway. We operate a varied fleet of HGV including artic and rigid units from a range of manufacturers.

We are an Independent Family run business, employing over 175 people and Operating more than 95 Vehicles.Our main Transport site is located in Armadale, West Lothian, Just off J4 of the M8 Edinburgh/Glasgow motorway, where we can reach 60% of Scotland’s population, some 3 million people within a one hour drive from our Depot.We have a further 5 sites storage sites within 10 miles of Armadale totalling 270k sq. ft, where we store, pick, pack and distribute our customers goods from. We are also BRC Certified for Storage & Distribution achieving AA accreditation
