**£75k+ and Car Allowance (negotiable dependent on experience)**

Hunter Mason are currently working alongside a medium-sized Main Contractor to source a Senior Quantity Surveyor, they’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running immediately and start delivering results to a high standard. This is a great opportunityfor an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded company that is continuing to expand at a market leading salary.

**Your new role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor**

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include the following:

- Budgeting
- Assisting the tendering process
- Cashflow forecasting
- Subcontractor procurement and negotiation
- Monthly valuations with the Client’s QS
- Change management
- Pricing of variations and the provision of timely cost advice
- Remeasurement
- Working closely with the Contract
- Managers in the delivery of the projects
- Subcontract account management to FA
- Monthly CVRs
- Reporting to the Directors
- Closing out of project Final Accounts
- Team leadership as required.

**The Requirements and Benefits for this role**
- Have at least 8 (preferably 10) years’ experience with a Main Contractor
- Have relevant qualifications (HND / Degree / Professional)
- Be commercially minded
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Work with integrity
- Be well presented with good communication skills
- Have a good and stable track record
- Be looking to work in a smaller company environment and enjoy the opportunities arising from such a position
