About The Role***

We have a vacancy for a Security Concierge to join our team based in Exchange Plaza Edinburgh. You'll be working 56 hours per week dayshifts (6am to 6pm) and nightshifts (6pm to 6am)

This role supports the building’s landlord and their management team by delivering a 5* meet-and-greet and creating a professional, friendly, first impression.

You’ll manage the standard processes of ‘front-of-house’ including post, couriers, contractors, visitors and the associated access and signing-in procedures.

You’ll work in a friendly, proactive, manner, using your initiative to find ways of developing the occupiers-experience. Our staff have a ‘can do’ approach and work very effectively with letting agents, building management and other property professionals.

You’ll play a key role in the security team’s delivery of a professional service to high profile businesses, with a firm focus on delivering high levels of customer service.

**Your main responsibilities will also include**:
**_ Managing reception:_**
- Set up and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambience reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations.
- Meet and greet visitors, become the “friendly face” of the building.
- Represent the developer/landlord in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Manage couriers, post and all deliveries.
- Submit weekly reports on site activity.

**_General Management and Security of the building:_**
- Develop effective relationships with clients, agents and contractors.
- Ensure that the building reception area is always immaculately presented.
- Ensure any vacant space is kept pristine and available for viewing.
- Liaison with the building manager, to help ensure contractors carry out their duties effectively and assist with any other tasks requested.
- Reporting issues and managing to resolution through the correct process
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**General Security of the building**
- Security Patrols
- CCTV Monitoring
- General Security Duties
- Security Reporting
- Fire alarm testing

If pre-agreed with our client, and as an additional part of the OCS front-of-house service:

- Organise/assist in seasonal promotional events; Pop-up markets - supporting local businesses as appropriate - Easter, Halloween, Christmas and Summer activities.

**To succeed in this role you will also need**
- Experience working in a front-of-house or customer service role.
- An SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence (essential)
- CCTV would be advantageous,
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
- Flexible to assist colleagues.
- Enjoys dealing with people at all levels
- Additional: Building/FM knowledge would be advantageous.
