With our considerable experience, comprehensive services and facilities, we can offer our customers a total logistics package for activities within the port of Aberdeen on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis.

We are looking for banksmen to join our experienced team handling quayside duties for the loading and discharging vessels.

This is an ad-hoc role, on as an and when basis with overtime work available.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Banksman slinger operations, quayside and vessel hold based
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely
- Following the vessel foreman instruction at all times
- Ensure loads are slung correctly prior to lifting
- Promote safe working at all times
- Visually inspect lifting equipment during operations and immediately report damages

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Valid slinger / banksman certification
- Experience in port operations
- Experience working alongside cranes
- Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of lifting operations
- Be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of slinging operations
- Clear communicator
- High level of reliability
- Valid RTITB Forklift certification would be beneficial
