**About the role (External)**:
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Deliver very short timetabling arrangements that support the management of SPAD mitigation. Undertake planning of train movements to a time horizon of 48 hours or less.
- Maintain that the timetabling is to Network Rail agreed contractual arrangements.
- Compile a library of regularly used timetable slots to provide consistent delivery.
- Identify regular and frequent requests for short-term movements to the Train Planning Manager for introduction into the permanent timetable.
- Assist controllers by recording train running information where required.

**Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

Essential
- Good understanding of railway geography
- Understanding of rules of the route
- Understanding of SPAD mitigation arrangements
- Understanding of train planning processes

Desirable
- Good keyboard skills
- Able to work to fixed timescales
- Self reliant

**Salary**: £32,000 - £37,000
