You will be able to communicate in a variety of ways, with people at all levels of the organisation, on a range of people related issues. With your professional and credible approach, you instil confidence in others, meaning you are well placed to provide HR advice, coaching and support to managers, whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation, identifying and minimising risk to the organisation.
As part of a team provide a proactive, customer focussed, professional HR advisory service to managers across the Trust, taking an active role in designated Trust-wide HR initiatives as agreed with HR Business Partners through the Senior HR Advisor and Head of HR.
Effective case load management of people related issues, such as discipline, grievance and absence, is key to this role.
Provision of professional HR advice, coaching and support to managers regarding resourcing, organisational change, employee relations and terms & conditions of employment and HR policies & procedures ensuring compliance with employment legislation identifying and minimising risk to the organisation.
Build and maintain credible and productive working relationships at all levels of the organisation, and work closely with the wider Recruitment & Resourcing, Payroll and Health & Well-being Departments in delivering their duties.

Applicants should be aware that there is an intention for Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust to TUPE transfer to St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the near future. There has been a long collaboration between both Trusts for the last 18 months and anticipated TUPE process is currently underway.
