The aims of the London SCI Network are to improve patient care, outcomes and experience through an integrated networked model of care that breaks down barriers between organisations to deliver a seamless pathway of care.

The Network Administrator role encompasses coordination tasks, complex administrative, and relationship management tasks across a number of network organisations.

A key element of this will be the effective communication between these leads, with the network members and stakeholders, and with commissioners, particularly NHS England London Region.

It will also entail ensuring effective administration for the running of the SCI Project Steering Group, and the Network sub groups. They will also set up the yearly SCI Network Conference in collaboration with other members of the Network.

The post holder will need to be proficient at building and maintaining excellent relationships - and at fostering a culture of collaborative working. They will need to be structured in their thinking and able to organise, plan and execute a plan that spans a wide range of provider, commissioner and patient organisations.
- Support the network team’s business function, assisting with the developing and managing of the team’s annual programme workplan, the progress and dashboard reporting, budget statement, and risk and issue identification
- Coordinate the SCI Network Board Group meeting and other relevant meetings throughout the year to ensure ongoing system engagement, feedback and continuous improvement. In particular preparing resources, recording of minutes, managing action trackers, and risks & issue logs using own initiative
- To provide comprehensive administration and support to the governance process to a high standard demonstrating a high level of discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality to ensure an effective and continuously improving Network.
- Working as a member of the team contribute to the delivery of project plans, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options.
- To support the Network’s Community of Practice and SCI Network Manager to deliver the annual SCI Stakeholder Event.
- To arrange and support any other Network events, workshops as required in line with Network need.
- To record accurate and articulate minutes from often complex and high level meetings, and the development and maintenance of the associated action trackers

The London SCI Network is staffed by a network manager, educational lead, data analyst and a network administrator. This team will work closely with staff from the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre and Link workers across the 4 major trauma centres.
- Support the network team’s business function, assisting with the developing and managing of the team’s annual programme workplan, the progress and dashboard reporting, budget statement, and risk and issue identification

- Support network members in collecting clinical audit data and project Key Performance Indicators.
- To support the Network’s Community of Practice and SCI Network Manager to deliver the annual SCI Stakeholder Event.
- To arrange and support any other Network events, workshops as required in line with Network need.
- To record accurate and articulate minutes from often complex and high level meetings, and the development and maintenance of the associated action trackers
- To contribute to a culture of innovations, working where required with partner organisations within and outside of the Network
- To contribute to the establishment and maintenance of robust and systemic governance structures and arrangements for improvement project activities and the Network itself.
- To keep up to date records and information for the purpose of internal and external evaluation
- Undertake effective communication skills by a variety of means including written, data entry, verbally, in person, and telephone. Good presentation skills and communication skills are key.
- Attend national and local SCI Network Meetings when required to deputise on behalf of other Project and Team members where the normal non clinical attendees are not available.
