**About the Role**:
**What will I be doing**:

- Delivery of accurately sectioned explosive components often with new complex shapes/designs to Project Managers/Delivery Leads/Customers.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the HSE requirements applicable to energetic materials processing and machining. (Training will be given for a successful applicant with limited knowledge of explosives.)
- Develop new practical skills and broaden knowledge through on-the-job training and/or external training.
- Support proactive maintenance of machining equipment.
- Accept and deliver additional roles outside the general job description.

**What do I need**:

- A strong ethos on the importance of safety, operational efficiency and project delivery.
- Have a basic knowledge/understanding of engineering drawings, machining processes and work holding, procedures and systems which allow the safe delivery of assigned tasks; show a good understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which sectioningis based.
- Understand the necessity to deliver high levels of quality on tasks performed and services provided and how this and the timely delivery of work impacts the effectiveness of the local team.
- Must be able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, and be sensitive to audience diversity.
- Consistently deliver a high level of performance and understand how that influences the Machining Team by demonstrating enthusiasm and flexibility.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Good mechanical aptitude and experience working in technical workshops is desirable.
- Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to interpret technical information, processes and able to interpret engineering drawings is desirable.
- Experience of handling chemicals and processing of explosive materials is desirable but not essential.
