**Job Location**:Tiverton, with travel to our sites across the South & Southwest of England and South Wales

**Salary**:The full-time equivalent salary is £36,700, however as this role is working 32 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, you’ll be paid £29,360, plus a Company Car Allowance.

**Contract Type**:Permanent - Hybrid (Potential for Term Time Only)

As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll have a critically important role within our People Services Team of supporting our settings both in care and education, for our children and young adults. You’ll play a pivotal part in helping us shape who we are as we change and growth. You’ll help us succeed by focusing on employee relations, establishing new processes and revising policies.

**A day in the life of a Senior HR Advisor will involve**:

- Working closely with the HR Manager, and Care & Education Leaders to provide the leadership team with the necessary support and guidance on HR matters, staying compliant with employment law and best practices.
- Acting as the first point of contact and managing employee relations casework, including performance and absence management, leading on investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
- Contributing to the development of the policies and procedures, monitoring employee experience at all stages of the employee lifecycle and adopting a progressive culture of continuous improvement.

**To be a successful Senior HR Advisor, you’ll need**:

- Ideally CIPD qualified Level 5, or equivalent experience, with proven HR experience in multi-site and multi-disciplinary settings, preferably in Care or Education, but not essential.
- A strong understanding of employee relations and employment law; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, while also being adaptable to a diverse range of tasks.
- Strong IT skills - We’ll train you on how to use our systems, but it is essential you have a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- Great Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: This role requires outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. You should enjoy working with people, be team-oriented, and capable of building strong relationships with managers and stakeholders.
- A full driving licence - You will need to travel to our sites across the South & Southwest of England and South Wales.
