We currently have an opportunity for a SHE Coordinator based at our Rawcliffe Bridge Site, in East Yorkshire. You will assist in the management of Safety, Health and the Environment in relation to the operation of the site. You will advise on planning and implementation and the measure of performance of the Group, Croda Europe and site SHE policy as well as maintaining awareness of current SHE legislation applicable to the business. This will involve communication across the site and report writing, presentations and training. Technical and Operational experience in a chemical production environment is essential. Detailed understanding of the SHE regulations associated with the operation of a UK chemical site. You will plan and organise the implementation of short to medium term projects alongside the day to day activities including maintaining a full range of risk control programmes and procedures to minimise risk and manage foreseeable emergencies.

**Essentials**:

- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of the SHE regulations associated with the operation of a chemical site in the UK
- Computer literate (MS office, SAP),
- Good planning and organisation skills
- You will have effective communication skills, capable of working with staff at all levels and external agencies
- Able to work to a high and consistent standard with good attention to detail
- Recognised technical or engineering degree
- NEBOSH certificate

**Desirables**:

- Experience on a COMAH manufacturing site
