Summary

Salterforth Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our staff and fulfil this key role at our wonderful school.
The job will consist of keeping our school clean and tidy inside and out and ensuring that our building and grounds are safe for our children. The job will also involve carrying out various checks such as fire alarms and water. If you have the skills to do small DIY tasks, this would be an asset but not essential.

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in caretaking, or equivalent

Essential Experience

Ability to work as part of a team<
Flexible attitude to work
Good interpersonal skills
Experience of undertaking manual tasks (e.g. maintenance, DIY)
Ability to use power tools and equipment relevant to the role
Awareness of health & safety issues and COSHH

Desirable Experience

Experience of security related issues

Experience of working as a cleaner

Experience of working in an environment with children

Knowledge of and commitment to the safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children.
