1- Lead the development, implementation and integration of SPS information management systems. Ensure that SPS manages its information effectively and can gather, analyse, store and share its information as required. Support the SPS transformation from on-premises digital and paper-based systems to digital cloud-based information systems. Manage teams of specialist to assist SPS to comply with data protection and records management legislation and best practice.- Responsibilities- 1- Lead the formulation of proposals for the review, development and enhancement of the SPS information strategy, policy and practice.- 1- Lead engagement with SPS Improvement Team, management and staff to ensure information throughout SPS is managed effectively and in compliance with legislation through appropriate systems.- 1- Line manage the data protection team, the records management team and the SharePoint online team.- 1- Manage the migration and continuous improvement of SharePoint online as SPS electronic document management system (EDMS).- 1- Prepare and provide MIS on SAR and GDPR reporting requirements to SPS Management Records of Scotland as required.- 1- Manage budgets and contracts in line with SPS policies.**Person Specification**- Qualification Requirements- 1- Degree level or equivalent senior management experience for a minimum of 3 years.
(Essential)- 1- 2 years in a senior information management role.
