**Duties**:

- Assists in the operation of the bowling center control desk. Operates the point of sales system, assigns lanes, issues rental items, takes food orders. Process payment transactions via cash, checks, credit cards, and gift cards.
- Informs patrons on bowling safety rules. Monitor slot room and completes paperwork for payouts. Documents and informs manager of any equipment malfunctions or other items needing repair. Completes all shift paperwork and reports.
- Prepares drinks, milk shakes, and ice cream for customers. Responsible for all alcohol sales.
- Spot checks and cleans tables in the bowling area and dining room. Removes trash and cleans carpets. Checks restrooms for sufficient supplies and cleanliness.
- Ensures all funds safety and accountability. Ensures safe is locked and secured, and paperwork is completed for the next shift. Ensures all close-out procedures are met at the end of the day.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires that the incumbent meet the legal age requirements for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. For this position, that age requirement is 18 years of age or older.
- This position requires working on evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

- **Qualifying Experience**:No experience is necessary. However, prior experience of recreational activities, cash handling, and in using and maintaining recreation equipment is desirable.

**Education**:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.

**Additional information**:
