Head of Sales required to join a well-established (1937) and renowned manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, sold into a wide variety of sectors, including health & beauty, food, laboratory, pet care, hobby, craft & stockists.

**Package**
- £45,000
- Uncapped OTE of £60,000
- Commission and additional monthly Sales Target Incentive Bonuses
- 36 days holiday

**Role**
- Delivering profitable year-over-year growth through successful new account acquisition, the effective development and maintenance of existing accounts and the creation of new revenue channels
- Leading and motivating the Sales Team towards sales objectives through mentorship and development whilst contributing positively to the culture.
- Selling a wide range of packaging solutions and services including bottles, caps, scoops & measures, small boxes, jars, tubes, and fasteners with the possibility to expand into other markets and to develop new products for customers.
- Promote our in-house Custom Moulding Service to customers and liaise with the Designer, Toolroom and Production Manager throughout the Design, Manufacture, and Test Stages
- Developing strong relationships with customers in the UK and internationally.
- Represent the company whilst attending trade shows, visiting customers, and hosting site visits
- Presenting to both customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- Identify and report on new business opportunities in target markets in line with Sales Strategy
- Utilise the CRM system to monitor, record analyse and report on sales activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to analyse market data, identify trends and find opportunities for the business to explore

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Business Development / National Account Manager / Head of Sales / Sales Director / Sales Manager or similar
- Experience selling into the Plastics Packaging sectors - Plastic Product Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
- Experience in leading a team in a sales environment
- Good IT Skills with Word / Excel / Teams / SharePoint / Sage Accounts / Database Management
- Office based with UK wide travel
- Overnight events and travel required on an ad hoc basis
- Full UK Driving Licence

**Salary**: From £45,000.00 per year
