**About our client**
Our client, a top-ranked global real estate investment fund, is looking to hire a Financial Accountant into their impressive London team. Established for over 30 years, the firm possesses an impressive portfolio consisting of industrial, commercial and residentialproperties across both the European and US market. Reporting directly to the UK Financial Controller, you will be primarily responsible for the day to day management of a client's EU real estate investment structure. This is a fantastic opportunity for Accountantsthat have experience working with real estate funds and are looking to take a step up in their career.
**What the job involves**:

- Meet client reporting deadlines including consolidated quarterly IFRS financial statements, budget variance analysis, risk analysis and tax compliance reporting
- Oversight and coordination of the annual budgeting process for the real estate portfolio
- Complete relevant tax, regulatory and statutory reporting with the support of third-party service providers
- Calculation and timely production of quarterly asset management fee schedules and invoices
- Oversight of Rental Guarantee Scheme
- Liaising with external auditors in completion of annual audit work
- Oversight of third-party valuation process for the real estate assets owned by the client and UK entities
- Assist with information needs related to asset financings and risk management
- Manage lender coordination and oversee compliance with all loan requirements including reporting, loan cash management requirements, financial covenants, quarterly interest payments
- Manage any inter-company financing instruments within the structure
- Review of quarterly reporting packs, consolidated financial statements, statutory accounts

**Who we are looking for**:

- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Knowledge of real estate fund structures and capital and investment transactions
- Relevant Fund Accounting experience working in Public Accounting and/or the real estate industry
- Must have excellent analytical skills in addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills
