The Black Lion Hotel is looking for Hard Working Pot Wash to join our team; Maybe your looking for your 1st job, in the holidays or just some extra money?

We're A 9 Bedroom Hotel as well as Public House with dining room & large beer garden serving food in all areas also hosting events

We serve breakfast only to hotel residents and then lunch / evening meals to the general public

Shift Times approx 10am - 5.00pm & 5.00pm -10pm approx Please be aware these shifts do fall outside public transport times in New Quay so own transport or a reliable lift is essential

As part of the team you will need to be professional and hard working. You will be responsible for washing equipment manually and with an industrial sanitiser, clearing all food waste/kitchen waste appropriately and upholding food hygiene standards. You’ll be working in a busy and fast paced kitchen during weekends and summer months and to ensure your area runs smoothly,

Finally, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy and presentable and uphold the company's values reporting any issues to a responsible member of the team

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manually and with an industrial dishwasher cleaning all kitchen equipment, drying and ensuring it is put back where it belongs.
- Following opening and closing cleaning procedures daily.

Due to the nature of hospitality the job will entail weekend and evening shifts along with days during high season out of school time

Training / Progression maybe given in Kitchen & Other areas if desired

Pay is dependent on age and experience; hours negotiable dependant on age

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £6.98 per hour
