**As a Divisional Retail Trainer, you will cover the **Bedford, Cambridge, Norfolk & Suffolk **division in the East, as such, we are looking for someone to be based in or around this area.**

**The role**

The Divisional Retail Trainer will combine their Optical, Audiology and Domiciliary skills with their delivery experience to facilitate learning activities across the business. A delivery focussed role, facilitating a range of colleague development topics. The role combines different learning techniques to ensure the learners’ experience is challenging, practical and effective.

The Divisional Retail Trainer will use their consultancy skills to analyse the needs of our business/people and where appropriate, provide learning solutions that help build performance and overcome the identified need. Some duties include:

- Facilitate and support learners on colleague development and apprenticeship programmes through the National Core Offer and divisional support model
- Work closely with the Divisional People Partner to deliver the divisional people plan
- Be a visible learning & development specialist within the division and with our Partners
- Proactively work with the wider Retail L&D Team to ensure a ‘one team’ approach
- Proactively work with the Apprenticeship Team to ensure OFSTED standards are adhered to
- Provide challenge, advice, and coaching support for In-Store Trainers (IST)

**Your experiences**
- Facilitation and training skills in virtual and face-to-face delivery approaches, for individuals, small and large groups
- Consulting skills to identify training needs and create, deliver, and evaluate solutions
- Mentoring & coaching skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving business
- Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
- Technical knowledge of specialist areas such as Optics, Domiciliary or Audiology would be beneficially but not essential
