To plan, co-ordinate and continuously review the Wellbeing agenda within HMP Establishment and to lead on the development of a high quality recovery and involvement focused programme to a diverse prisoner and staff population within the establishment.

To devise, facilitate, and coordinate the delivery of, relevant events in the establishment in conjunction with other members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) under clinical and managerial supervision.

To deliver a programme which maintains relevance to health and wellbeing and which reflects current contemporary practice and national health promotion targets.

To provide operational and organisational support to staff delegated with Wellbeing tasks and roles

The directorate provides healthcare to eight prisons and one Immigration Removal Centre in the counties of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. As such you are part of a large peer group of 300 + healthcare professionals with access to appropriate peer support, supervision and excellent opportunities for learning and development.

The post is situated within a prison establishment which and based within the integrated healthcare department. The post holder will work with the support and supervision of the Head of Healthcare and Clinical Matrons.

The role involves working in liaison with other staff within the integrated healthcare department and multi-disciplinary teams, as required through attendance at the Wellbeing Centre Action Group.

The role requires a high degree of networking and joint work with the clinical Matrons, nursing staff and other key practitioners, wider directorate, prison healthcare teams, prison colleagues, Recovery college network and community agencies, this list is not exhaustive.
