**Our client is looking for a Commercial Officer working on contracts management to join their team based in Scotland. Their 9/75 work pattern gives you every other Friday off and whilst predominantly onsite some hybrid working will be available in this role.**

**You will be working on contracts management functions across supplies and services, from capture through to proposal. This will include Contract award and phases of contract administration. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work on commercial/contract models and how to use them.
- Ensures Terms and Conditions compliance and define all risks and create and implement solutions for problems.
- Independently identify, define, and implement contract revisions and improvements.
- Liaison with internally, with customers and suppliers in support of above and provide support.
- Organise and maintain contract files.
- Ensure timeliness of all contract actions and contract close out.
- Keep internal and external stakeholders appraised of current issues.
- Responsible for ensuring flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers.

**Skills & experience**:

- Contracts Management for Major Projects / Programmes / Complex Contracts.
- Knowledge of the different types of commercial / contract models and how to use them.
- Ensures Terms and Conditions compliance and define all risks and create and implement solutions.
- Independently identify, define, and implement contract revisions and improvements.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, report writing and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at varying seniority levels.
