Our client, a subcontractor who deliver high quality services to clients in the social housing and local authority sector are seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join their maintenance team on an ongoing basis.

Will involve working in properties mainly in the Peterborough, Boston, Wisbech and surrounding areas.

Working hours are 08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday with 30min lunch break.

**The role: Painter and Decorator**

Working in void and occupied domestic properties. This will be painting and decorating kitchens and bathrooms while offering a high standard of customer service.

**Role requirements -**

In order to be considered for the role you must have proven experience as a Painter and Decorator and be able to provide details of work related references.
- Asbestos Awareness & Manual Handling Certificates (we can provide access to free
online courses)
- Have own tools, whites and transport (company van could be a possibility if required)
- Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.
- Full driving license
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Both self-employed and PAYE options are available. In return the client can offer competitive pay rates, paid mileage as well as ongoing work.

Overtime and weekend work available if desired. Longer hours available depending on demand. Van and long term subcontracting can be considered after successful probation period.
