**Flexible - 3 days per week**. **To start April 2024 - fixed term to August 2025**

The National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) Regional Coordination Computing
Hub at Chesterton Community College in Cambridge provides support to teachers and
Computing Hubs across the East of England and East Midlands.

You may have just a couple of years’ experience or over 20 years’ experience and come
from wide ranging backgrounds, but at the heart of your skill set will be detail
orientated ‘administration’ and the ability to engage quickly with wide ranging IT
solutions to support your work.

We will offer a flexible working arrangement, however, at least one day or partial day
per month must be spent on-site near Cambridge. There will also be the occasional
weekend event to support. You will be a pivotal part of a growing team and will work
remotely with the Regional Coordinator, the STEM Learning network partners, as well as
the Chesterton Computing hub team and other hub teams in the region.

**Your day-to-day tasks will be wide-ranging and include**:

- project management
- general administrative duties
- marketing and communications activity to support recruitment (promoting
- courses and events via social media, website and newsletter)
- enrichment and Gender Insights programme coordination
- CPD scheduling and regional oversight - (adding and managing course and event information to our booking system)
- Coordination of the regional Physical Computing Kit programme

**Essential Knowledge and Skills**
- excellent communication skills

- excellent IT skills including a good understanding of Word and Excel (and/or
- Google equivalents)
- willingness to learn new IT systems.

As a term of your employment, you may reasonably be expected to perform duties of a similar or related nature to those outlined in the job description.

This job description will be reviewed and updated periodically to ensure that it relates to

conducted by the Headteacher or Manager in consultation with the postholder. In these
circumstances it will be the aim to reach agreement on reasonable changes, but if
