Kitchen Assistant/sandwich Maker

**We are an events catering company looking for a full time sandwich maker/driver to work at our HQ in Beckenham. This is a great role for someone who wants to have a key role in the kitchen and to be involved in a growing company.**

**The role**:

- Responsible for the planning and preparation of sandwich orders
- Preparing finger buffets as directed by the section chef
- Clearing down kitchen areas
- Making sure deliveries are ready for clients accurately and on time
- Five days a week (7am-3pm would be the average core hours but can be adjusted to suit the needs of the business)

- Have a logical and methodical approach to their workload
- Be able to work well and effectively under pressure
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work well in a team but also have the ability and confidence to work alone
- Have worked in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment, and show skill in learning quickly to a high standard
- Be self-motivated and able to manage their workload and time effectively
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and the want to exceed expectations
- Be friendly and good humoured
- A full clean driving license would be advantageous

- £28,080 per annum (£13.50 hourly rate)

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Beckenham, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
