Our successful Oban branch is looking to recruit for the following role:
Yard Assistant / Van Driver

In this role you will work as part of our external team of staff. Saturday working is a requirement for this position and you will be expected to work alternate Saturdays throughout the year.

Responsibilities and Duties

Predominantly you will be required to work as part of the Yard Team but also be required to be flexible and make multi drop deliveries to our customers in the surrounding area driving the van/pickup vehicles. When in the yard you will:

- Assist customers

Provide excellent customer service

Load and unload vehicles

Pick and check orders

Store stock safely

Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role

A Counterbalance Forklift Licence

Building industry knowledge.

You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis so we are looking for someone that:
Has the likeability factor

Has excellent customer service

Hard working

Positive attitude

Good attention to detail.
