Group Distribution Manager

As our Group Distribution Manager, you will head up the design and delivery of our UK Distribution model from goods receiving processes, through to final delivery to our customers. This role will require close collaboration with our Group Lead LogisticsPartners, from selection through to ongoing contract management and performance reviews.Driving continuous improvement activities (internal, customer or provider) you will ensure improvement in cost, service and EHS deliverables. Working with all our logisticsassociated service providers (predominantly haulage & MHE), you will support us in securing future business through a cost efficient, exceptional service led model which continues to evolve.

You will possess strong commercial / negotiation skills, be willing to challenge the status quo and drive innovation into our distribution solution.Drawing on your strong End to End Physical Logistics / Operational knowledge, you will have the abilityto influence the wider business to achieve delivery of improvements from concept through to realisation. Decisive in approach, you will use data and evidence as the basis for your solution and ultimately take total accountability for the distribution solutionand resulting performance.

Your primaryfocus on leading the development and delivery of our strategic vision which supports the overall business ambitions, you will be the escalation point for our operational sites for any significant issues, but not directly managing the day today operations.
