Cod Beck Blenders is renowned for providing a wide range of toll and contract manufacturing services across a diverse number of sectors.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Manufacturing and Packaging Supervisors to join our Production Team to smooth day to day operations and to meet production targets.

The role will involve assisting the Team Leaders on a daily basis ensuring production staff meet the required levels in health and safety, production, quality, delivery and technical standards.

This is a "hands on" role, leading by example to drive performance and ensuring standard operation are adhered to and maintaining safe working practices.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Leads team to meet the highest of health and safety standards.
- Completes production plan on time and in full each week by scheduling and assigning personnel to tasks, establishing priorities, monitoring progress of works orders, resolving problems and reporting
- Maintains and ensures a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of established policies and procedures.
- Maintains product quality by ensuring their team adheres to procedures and work instructions.
- Ensures efficient operation of plant and equipment by liaison with Maintenance Dept.
- Coordinates and implements training and development of all members of their production team to ensure appropriate ongoing levels of competence and knowledge.
- Having full knowledge of operating procedures for their team members to follow and ensuring that they consistently comply with them in full.
- Train, set responsibilities, and standards, supervise, and evaluate team members.
- Encourages team work and supportive attitudes between team members.

**Experience**
- Previous leadership experience
- 2+ years Supervision of production teams consisting of 6-20 members

**Required Skills & Abilities**
- Willingness to be flexible to meet the demands of the job.
- Proven people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Computer literate.
- Working to tight production lead-times.
- Managing manufacturing processes - preferably FMCG.
- Process / Efficiency Improvement.
- Eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Proactive organisational skills.

**What We Offer**:
You will receive comprehensive training for the role and will be supported during your probationary period to achieve the required standard.

**Job Types**:

- Full-time, Permanent
- Hours of work: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hr of breaks during the day (1/2hr Lunch unpaid)
- Overtime: available
