- Reception/ telephone
- Bathing/prepping dogs ready for styling
- General day to day salon duties
- Must be able to groom a dog completely from start to finish in a 2 hour time frame.
- Must hold a level 2 or 3 qualification in dog grooming or the equivalent experience.

Hours:

- Wednesday 9am - 6pm
- Thursday 9am - 6pm
- Friday 9am - 6pm
- Saturday 9am - 6pm (Required every week without fail)

You may be asked to cover Holidays, Sickness and busy period (Christmas etc).

Closed for Christmas Dec 24th until Jan 4th 2023.

Part-time hours: 30/35 per week

- Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and styling pets
- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other basic grooming tasks
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with pet sitting and kennel duties as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a stylist or groomer is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles
- Ability to handle and groom pets of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner

Please note that this position may require heavy lifting at times, as grooming equipment and pets can be heavy.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
