**We are currently recruiting Housekeeper to work part time hours (flexible) with permanent contract.**

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- To provide a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the workplace and to promote a safe environment for all residents, staff and visits to the home. Ensure cleaning is carried out as per cleaning schedules and that cleaning is recorded.
- Ensure all cleaning products are stored in a locked cupboard at all times and products are used correctly using personal protective equipment as necessary. Ensure that stock cupboards are kept clean and tidy.
- To ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are not left unattended.
- To ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- To ensure all cleaning materials are used correctly and in a cost effective manner.
- To ensure an adequate supply of hand towels and toilet rolls at all times and that soap dispensers are filled.
- To accept other reasonable delegated duties relevant to the post.
- Be aware of overall maintenance reporting as necessary by completing the maintenance log or advising the Manager.
- Undertake audits of rooms when these become vacant.
- Maintain necessary records ensuring these are completed by end of each shift.
