Axon Moore are working with a market leading business to recruit a position based in their Salford Office. My client is looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst for an important role in their Finance team.
In this role you will be the key commercial point of contact for some of the largest clients in our business. With an average turnover of around £70m per annum, the commercial insight and support you provide for these clients will have a critical impact onthe business, and will help to ensure the success of our most important contracts.
This role is for an analyst who will join the corporate sub-team, part of the wider National Accounts Commercial Services team. The key function of this team is to provide commercial and financial insight, support, management and control for National Accountsand the wider business.
You will maintain close working relationships with both the National Accounts Managers and the clients themselves. This could include attending meetings, either through teleconference or in person, where you will present the latest financial KPIs and discusstheir key drivers.
**Role Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Account Managers in large business tenders. This involves analysing the proposal to evaluate its commercial viability.
- Forecasting sales and margin within the corporate sector.
- Producing sales budgets.
- Managing the customer rebate process end-to-end, including regular rebate reporting, payment processing, accruals and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Providing bespoke management information to clients at month-end.
- Performing bi-annual price reviews, which involves processing a lot of information accurately, and working to a deadline, whilst liaising with the Account Managers to ensure our financial objectives are met.
- Performing ad-hoc analytical work which could involve: reporting on volume trends, analysing delivery efficiency, resolve queries, or calculating the financial impact of changing pricing or other contractual terms.

**Person Specification**:

- An active ACCA/CIMA studier, degree background is preferred
- Experienced in a similar Analyst position within a fast-paced environment
- Experienced with MS Excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
- Highly numerate/analytical mind-set with excellent organisation & attention to detail
- Ambitious and self-motivated
- Good attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial/logístical information.
- Good organisation skills to be able to manage your workload effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, confident in sharing ideas and best practice with non-finance colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills
