Production Assistant

An exciting oportunity has arisen to join our production team on our site in Avonmouth.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Updating production data on the ERP system: promise dates, production weeks, arrival of orders and subcontract work.
- Processing purchase orders to meet machine requirements and specifications through the works orders.
- Raising of general and sub-contractor purchase orders, including processing good received.
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery times are met, to allow machine prep completion, ensuring dates are updated on ERP and calendars.
- Update accurate lead times and due dates within ERP.
- Costing/invoicing completed and delivered works orders.
- Liaising with the workshop to ensure machines are completed to the order specification and will be ready for dispatch, updating the results in ERP.
- Actioning job sheets, including printing and door stickers.
- Actioning any machines swaps once notified by the sales admin team, including: admin of works orders, possible removing and swapping over of parts/labour, cancelling/costing. Updating ERP with any photos to provide accuracy, if machine swaps have been processed. Updating job sheets and door stickers during machine swaps and machine amendments to ensure accuracy of the equipment on ERP.
- Creating machine certificates and documentation. Ensuring this is placed in the cab of the machine and uploaded on ERP.
- Updating system and job packs with parts arrival information.
- Refreshing production schedule - excel spreadsheet to ensure all Depots have current data visible.
- Gatekeeping of Workshop Engineers labour on ERP ensuring this is up to date and accurate at all times.
- Upkeep of all PDI sheets ensuring accuracy on all, including machine certificates prior to machine delivery to customer.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Any other administrative tasks within capabilities, including for Production Teams across the Group.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and forwarding appropriately.
**Work Experience & Education Requirements**:
- Strong administrative experience.
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment.
- Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise own tasks as required.
- Confident and clear telephone manner.
Experience with ERP systems ideal but not essential.
