Specialist Mortgage Broker

**Key Responsibilities**
- To answer phone calls in a polite and helpful manner, being sure to direct calls to the appropriate colleague promptly, or taking and passing on clear messages whenever required
- To undertake initial advisor calls with potential clients to fact-find, recording the outcome of those conversations in/on our internal CRM system
- To source appropriate specialist finance options from a dedicated panel of lenders
- To meet with lenders on a regular basis to build relationships & stay up to date with criteria changes
- To proactively assist our clients and partner introducers to answer any queries they may have
- To update internal spreadsheets/documentation with the required information accurately
- To maintain client folders, documentation, and in-house CRM systems, ensuring information is accu-rate and stored in line with our GDPR policies
- To identify inefficiencies and suggest processes to overcome them
- To generate own pipeline of client leads as well as working with leads provided by VIBE
- To proactively push own pipeline to completion where necessary
- Skilled in handling objections and complex cases and structuring them in the most appropriate way for the benefit of the client(s)
- To engage key decision makers within the lender process in order to achieve the best outcomes for the client
- To not be afraid to step out of one’s comfort zone and continually strive to do better
- To attend introducer and client meetings face to face as well as site visits where required/necessary
- To proactively contribute to the achievement of both individual and company weekly, annual and monthly targets
- To create engaging and informative posts on the company’s social media pages
- To positively represent the company by attending training courses, networking events, awards ceremonies and lender meetings where required (these will likely be outside of standard working hours)

**Person Specification**

**Knowledge and qualifications**
- Ideally will possess a CeMAP qualification
- Minimum 3yrs experience as Specialist Mortgage Broker

**Skills and experience**
- Good standard of verbal and written English.
- Exemplary approach to customer care and experience of working with a case-load of clients
- Excellent IT skills (Word and Excel essential)
- Keen eye for detail, able to proofread documents and spot errors
- Able to work effectively as part of a team, with helpful attitude and strong communication skills
- Able to prioritise tasks in accordance with urgency and importance
- Reliable with good time keeping skills

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
