**Some duties include**:
- Oversight of the onboarding process ensuring that all new employees receive a contract, offer letter, and undergo pre-employment checks.
- Responsible for producing job adverts, person specifications and liaising with internal departments regarding advertising budgets.
- Managing HR duties of the apprenticeship scheme and keeping track of student’s arrangements.
- Advising on absence management, grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and probation management.
- Advising managers on policies, processes, and procedures.
- Complying with safeguarding at all times and ensuring that this is implemented throughout the school.
- General administrative duties.
**To be considered for this role, you must have/be**:
- Previous HR experience, ideally within the public sector.
- Current Enhanced DBS check (Ideally on the update service)
- Broad, concrete HR knowledge to include recruitment & onboarding, ER etc, general policies and procedures etc.
- Able to advise employees at all levels.
- Good employment law knowledge.
- A CIPD Level 3 as a minimum.
- Experience using Every HR system would be a significant advantage although not essential.
