Third Party Governance Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Third Party Governance Manager to join one of the UK’s leading Wealth Management firms in London. Along with a basic salary of up to £85,000 per annum, you will also receive a 10-15% bonus.
Working as part of a small first line function, you will help develop the Operational Oversight capability for the group, developing processes, governance and oversight of its sales supplier relationships.
**As Third Party Governance Manager, you will**:
- Provide guidance and consulting on governance, oversight, and risk mitigation approaches throughout the lifecycle to business operations and key stakeholders.
- Lead the development of ongoing monitoring activities and protocols with relationships, bringing transparency to the residual risks of any engagements
- Validate and monitor controls as well as contractual adherence through carrying out regular remote and on-site visits.
- Coordinate with senior business leaders who serve as Executive Sponsors for key vendors to oversee and manage their engagements.
- Serve as a strategic advisor for a portfolio of vendors, well versed in the details of specific engagements while simultaneously managing the broader list of vendors.
- Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution and their professional growth.
- Co-ordinate and undertakes Third Party Conduct Risk Management activities including scheduling, scoping, and reporting on these activities.
- Produce papers, presentations, and strategy documents to communicate the oversight agenda and performance internally and externally
- Develop, produces, and monitors robust MI and Key Performance Indicators that measure member and service outcomes, provides insightful commentary and highlights key trends and risks to senior management.
- Play a leading role in the development and delivery of effective governance meetings to facilitate effective delivery of services provided.
**We are looking for a Third Party Governance Manager who has the following skills and experiences**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience; required.
- Extensive working experience with management experience preferred.
- Experience in developing and managing teams; preferred.
- Experience in a large wealth management or financial institution as either an internal team member or as an external consultant; preferred.
- Background in third party management and governance, procurement, or regulatory compliance; preferred.
- Experience monitoring and reporting on service level agreements, identifying trends and risks; preferred
- Experience of governing third party risk and risk reporting.
