**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Here at Jaguar Land Rover we are in need of a Group Module Planning Engineer (MPE) and Scrum Master. Are you looking for a new challenge?

Working as part the Connected Car and Infotainment Hardware Group, the purpose of this role is to manage Programme transactions and Agile activities within the Group, meeting all defined targets and attributes (Technical and Commercial - Cost, Quality & Time). Responsible for execution of Group related Agile ceremonies, deliverables on programmes and reporting on status during Business Reviews.

As the first point of contact for specific Group issues on programmes, the MPE will act as the key interface between the Electric Vehicle Architecture Hardware team, the Electrical Project Team and the Programme Team, as well as facilitating cross department discussions and problem resolution.

Traditional Scrum Master responsibilities for the group and delivering value in a project engineering capacity. As a Scrum Master, your focus will be primarily on helping the group to deliver to their commitments, identifying and resolving any impediments to progress and helping to build a cohesive high performing team.

These activities will contribute to JLR’s strategic Vision of. Modern Luxury, Sustainability and Connected & Autonomous Vehicles.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Key responsibilities:
The role will include programme specific coordination of all activities to ensure reliable delivery of the Domain targets across the Module functions and ensure transparent communication and escalation through the programme team as required. Cross Domain facilitation for internal escalating tasks, triage, support and direction.

Facilitating cross-functional interactions where required, support and reinforce module team working ethos. Cascading programme deliverables into Domain backlogs based on quarterly targets. Heading weekly Module Meetings with the engineering teams to share programme relevant information. Support engineers with creation and maintenance of vehicle test plans.

Monitor, summarise & report out Connected Car and Infotainment team performance against key metrics to deliver robust & accurate Module metrics as required, including supporting the creation and maintenance of the APQP and PSW delivery metrics and tasks. In turn represent the Connected Car and Infotainment at start-up meetings, manage the delivery of all issues/impediments and escalate to the relevant governance forums.

Removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress and create alignment across squads through Scrum of Scrums and ad hoc engagements. Facilitate Agile / Scrum ceremonies including stand ups, retrospectives, showcases and sprint planning. Review performance charts every sprint to pinpoint challenges, discuss and agree together with the team on improvement points. Capture performance improvement ideas in retrospectives and create action plans for idea implementation.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

Essential:

- Project Management - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self
- confidence and a 'passion for quality’.
- Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.
- A good working knowledge of Product Development Cycles, Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes are essential (Prior experience within JLR).
- Experience as a Scrum Master in a technical product delivery environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile principles and practises.
- Previous experience of managing resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.
- Experience with tools such as MS Office, Sharepoint, able to produce synthetic information and scorecards.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels.
