Flicks Hair and Beauty is a full-service hair salon in Glasgow. We are a growing salon that is looking for a hair stylist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is interested in growing with the company and is excited about their future.

**Job Duties**:

- Create beautiful and professional haircuts and color services for our clients
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to our clients
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Use professional styling tools, such as curlers, flat irons, curlers, and straighteners
- Provide consultation to clients regarding their hair care needs and style suggestions
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular hair washing to help maintain a clean appearance
- Educate clients on the benefits of weekly/bi-weekly hair care regiment to help maintain their hair health
- Provide consultation to clients regarding their haircuts, cuts, or styles to help their self-esteem
- Assist with other salon services such as blowouts, color, waxing, scalp tugs, or other client services as needed.

**Experience**:

- At least 1 year of experience in a salon environment (I prefer someone who has been doing it that long)

**Compensation**:

- Pay will be based on experience. We offer generous pay rates for qualified employees. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£10.00 per hour

- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- stylist: 1 year (required)

- Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (required)
