We are working with one of our Manchester-based clients to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance / Purchase Ledger Team. Reporting to the Head of Finance you, as the Purchase Ledger Clerk, would be responsible for ensuring accurate, right first-time processing of supplier invoices and maintaining a smooth and efficient approval process.
**Responsibilities**
- Daily duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include:
- Process Sales Invoices
- Code and Process Vendor Invoices
- Maintain customer accounts and update on Accounts Package and CRM database as needed.
- Maintain and updated vendor files.
- Assist in completing month end procedures.
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Proficient in Excel
- Respond to Customer queries
- Maintain Customer relations to keep customer retention high.
- Assist in completing month end procedures.
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
**Requirements**:
- Proven record within Finance
- GCSE in Maths, English & IT
- Excellent Numeracy Skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate/Excel and Word
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
