**Cimteq by UL Solutions** is the leading provider of software for the design and manufacture of wire and cables, which is used by some of the largest wire and cable manufacturers around the world, with over 95% of our customer base located outside of the UK.

Our software is used to design cables for power transmission and communications, over the ground, under the sea, through the air and even in space. We are undergoing an exciting transformation as we bring new products to market to support our ambitious growth plans.

What you’ll learn & achieve:

- Plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the product.
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Work with both onshore and offshore Agile team members to ensure that requirements are fully understood, accepted, and delivered to the standards and quality expected by customers
- Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Research and analyse the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
- Liaise with and assist the Account Manager with new or existing customers product development opportunities providing technical input or direction.
- Liaise with and assist the Account Manager in an advisory capacity with regards commercials for new or existing customers product developments.
- Liaise with and assist Project Managers with new or existing customer product developments providing technical input or direction.
- Liaise with Account Manager/Project Managers/Customers to agree iterative delivery schedules once commercials have been agreed and provide frequent updates on delivery progress.
- Assist the Sales Team in providing additional technical product demonstrations and manufacturing expertise to prospective customers following initial product demonstrations by the Sales Team.
- Assist the Implementations Team by providing input to or actively performing specific Subject Matter Expert (SME) activities; remotely or on-site.
- Actively monitor Jira Support tickets raised and ensure these are acknowledged, prioritised, and delivered in a timely manner in conjunction with their severity and business criticality.
- Providing excellent customer service, interacting with customers as required.
- Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by your manager or the Leadership team.
- Actively commit to self-development.
- To attend all internal and external meetings and training courses.
- To share skills and knowledge within the team.

What makes you a great fit:

- Technical background with a good degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, preparing effective user Stories from either performing a Product Owner or Business Analysis role.
- Knowledge of Web based technologies, e.g. HTML, JavaScript, XML.
- A background in Agile Methodologies, preferably SCRUM.
- Exposure to a high-pressure working environment.
- Creative thinker with a vision and attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Take ownership of release strategies and direction of the product.
- Ability to work closely and develop professional relationships with customers.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent prioritisation, organisational and time management skills.
