Sprayer Operator

Due to internal prokotion, we are looking for a dedicated person to join our highly motivated team

We require a sprayer operator on a forward thinking, technology driven 600 Ha salad growing enterprise

Crops grown are Lettuce, salad onions and spring greens

You will be driving a three year old Bateman RB35 24m self propelled sprayer

Additional preffered qualifications - PA4 and PA6

Attention to detail is essential as accurate record keeping is essential

Good understanding of English is needed

Able to work as part of a small team

Busy season is end of Feb through to start of Oct

Maintenance of your machine is essential, as well as reporting any faults to your line manager

Average weekly hours through season - 50 to 60 hours

Starting salary will be based on experience

Some early morning or late evening working times are required when weather dictates

Tractor driving experience would be a benefit as well as workshop skills, as you will be required to help out in other departments when you are not spraying.

There is the chance of progression in the company for the right individual
