_**We are currently seeking a Maintenance/Handyperson to join our team.**_

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-time Handyperson to join a small team and work alongside the Office staff taking responsibility for general maintenance tasks as well as assisting with Health & Safety checks and controls.

The role will necessitate working 15 hours per week with days and times to suit.

The role will require flexibility to cover busy periods when additional hours may become available.

**Duties**
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks at Nuneaton Golf Club
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Perform weekly fire alarm and legionnaires tests and inspections
- Repair and maintain various systems and equipment
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the Office
- Assist with Health and Safety monitoring and reporting
- Undertake basic outdoor cleaning and maintenance activities

**Skills**
- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with staff and members
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of systems
- Experience with Health and Safety management systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Well organised and punctual

Whilst we will consider all applicants we are ideally looking to recruit an organised individual with previous experience in a similar role. This opportunity could suit a retired person or someone looking for an additional part-time job.

The Maintenance Handyperson is accountable to the General Manager, or in their absence the Assistant General Manager.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
