Grounds Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grounds Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and care of our outdoor spaces. The Grounds Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the grounds are well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for all visitors and employees.

**Duties**:

- Setting up daily/weekly tasks for the Maintenance Team
- Ensuring team have correct tools do complete job
- Manage Health and Safety of department
- Ensure team comply with H&S regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify any issues or areas in need of attention
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized services such as tree removal or pest control
- Develop and implement a maintenance plan to ensure the long-term health and beauty of the grounds
- Train and supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in management of team
- Time Management/ability to work under pressure
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Proficiency in operating power tools and equipment
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and external contractors

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
