Business Account Manager

**Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking an experienced Business Account Manager to work for a leading KBB manufacturer covering Cambridgeshire. Our client is looking for someone who is self-motivated, customer service focused, and sales driven.**

**This position is working within the New Build contract team and will cover the area of Cambridgeshire, with the potential of overnight stays.**

**The Role**:

- You will be responsible for managing the company’s successful relationships already in place with their New Build Contractors
- Arranging appointments and meetings with both existing and new clients
- Managing your own diary to ensure fluidity and correct planning
- Presenting a professional sales ability and promoting the company’s high standard of products in new build homes on sites throughout the area
- Servicing and managing existing accounts to a high standard
- Managing and controlling call offs, as well as preparing quotations, amendments, managing debt and customer expectations, in addition to proactive management of delivery dates, extras and variations
- Achieving turnover growth within existing and new accounts
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the industry’s customer base and competitors
- Taking full responsibility for managing the customers’ requirements across the area
- Reporting into head office when required
- Experience of working within fast-track building processes dealing with Contractors, ideally within the Kitchen, Bathroom or Bedroom industry
- Knowledge of the industry, company’s terms of trading, range of manufactured and bought out products and all major competitors
- The ability to "think outside the box" to find solutions
- Able to communicate on all levels
- Self-motivated, sales driven and able to work to tight deadlines
- Living in or close to Cambridgeshire
- A full UK driving licence and vehicle

This is a permanent role, working five days a week. Working hours are between 8am-5pm however, flexibility is needed due to the nature of the role. This is a field-based role in Cambridgeshire.
